Slayers Unleashed hands you the most important decisions in the game before you have swung a sword — your race, your breathing style, your clan and your Slayer Mark — and then explains almost none of them. Roll badly and you will spend your first week fighting the game itself; roll with a plan and the same hours take you much further. This guide is that plan: how the Demon Slayer-inspired RPG actually works, which rolls matter and which you can stop worrying about, how to get through Final Selection, and the fastest route for a brand-new player. Start by claiming the free spins and rerolls on our Slayers Unleashed codes page — they are the cheapest way to fix a bad roll.

Slayers Unleashed is a Demon Slayer-inspired action RPG on Roblox. You create a character, roll for a race, a breathing style (or a Blood Demon Art, if you play a demon), a clan and a Slayer Mark, then level up by taking quests, defeating enemies and bosses, and improving your stats. Humans fight with a katana and breathing techniques; demons fight with Blood Demon Arts instead.
The core loop stays the same for a long time: accept a quest, defeat the enemies it names, collect experience and money, spend the rewards on stats and gear, and take a harder quest. Bosses gate the big milestones — the most famous is Final Selection, the trial that turns a trainee into an official Slayer.
Join the game's Roblox group, then redeem codes. Codes only pay out to group members, and they are redeemed in chat — type the full code, including the ;code prefix, exactly as shown (for example ;code YAYSPINS). The free spins and rerolls are worth most on day one, because they let you fix your starting rolls before you invest hours in them.
Roll your character with a plan, not on autopilot. Your race decides whether you use breathing styles, demon arts or both; your breathing style decides your main moves; your clan adds passive bonuses that can double your experience or boost one style. Read the tables below first, then spend free rerolls chasing a combination that fits together.
Grind the starting area before you go looking for bosses. Punching logs and clearing the earliest quests is unglamorous, but it is the fastest safe experience in the game, and it funds your first katana. Timed quests in particular pay far more experience than fighting random enemies, so always have a quest active.
Buy a katana and put your first stat points into sword damage and defence. A katana turns your breathing style from a label into actual moves, and early points in sword damage and health keep you alive long enough to learn enemy attack patterns.
Push through the quest chain toward Final Selection. Once your level and gear are up to it, take on the trial and its Hand Demon boss: clearing it makes you an official Slayer and opens the next stretch of the game. Go in with a style you can actually play — a rare style you have never practised with is worse than a common one you know by heart.
These three rolls stack. Race sets your path, breathing style (or demon art) sets your moves, and clan adds bonuses on top. None of them can be judged alone: a clan is only good if it boosts what you already have.
| Roll | What it decides | What beginners should know |
|---|---|---|
| Race | Human, demon or hybrid | Humans use breathing styles; demons use Blood Demon Arts; hybrids can access Dark Thunder breathing, which other races cannot roll. If you roll Dark Thunder and then change away from hybrid, it becomes regular Thunder breathing. |
| Breathing style | Your sword moveset | Water is the most common roll and the safest starter — reliable, easy to learn, and boosted by the Tomioka clan. Thunder is faster and harder-hitting; Beast is rarer and aggressive. Sun and Moon are special styles earned through events and bosses, not ordinary rolls. |
| Clan | Passive bonuses | Several clans double experience earned, which is the single most valuable bonus for a new player. Kamado also adds damage and opens Sun Breathing; Tsugikuni boosts Moon Breathing chances; Tokito boosts Mist and Moon chances. |
For breathing styles, rarity roughly follows power: Water is the most common, followed by Thunder, then Dark Thunder for hybrids, then Beast, with Flame, Wind, Love, Mist, Serpent, Sound, Flower and Stone filling out the roster. Demon players roll Blood Demon Arts instead — Swamp and Tamari are common, with Blood, Doma, Daki, Hantengu and Muzan progressively rarer. Do not burn every reroll chasing a 1% roll on day one; a common style with a matching clan will out-level a rare style with no support.
A Slayer Mark is a separate trait that only humans and hybrids can roll, and it is the game's comeback mechanic. Every mark gives the same baseline when activated: a 10% boost to damage, health regeneration and movement speed, plus a further 10% damage boost to one matching breathing style.
| Slayer Mark | Boosts | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Tomioka | Water Breathing | 40% — the most common |
| Shinazugawa | Wind Breathing | 26% |
| Kanroji | Love Breathing | 20% |
| Tokito | Mist Breathing | 12% |
| Kamado | Sun Breathing | 2% — the rarest |
The catch is the trigger: a mark only activates when your health drops below 30%, and it then goes on a 10-minute cooldown. That makes it a clutch tool, not a permanent buff — it will save you in a boss fight you are losing, but it will not carry a fight you were never equipped for.
1. Always have a quest active. Quest experience dwarfs random enemy kills, and timed quests pay the best of all.
2. Spend free rerolls early, not late. Rerolling costs far less in regret at level 5 than at level 50. Use the codes page spins first, then decide what to keep.
3. Match your clan to your style. A 30% boost to the style you actually use beats a famous clan name that boosts a style you do not have.
4. Grind in groups, not one by one. Enemies that die fast, in a small area, with a quest counting them, are worth more per minute than one tough enemy across the map.
5. Learn to block and dodge before you chase damage. Most early deaths come from standing still and trading hits. A player who blocks, dodges and punishes openings levels faster than a stronger player who dies twice per quest.
6. Save your mark for the boss. Since it only triggers below 30% health with a long cooldown, keep it in reserve for the fight that actually threatens you.
| Code | Reward |

Join the Slayers Unleashed Roblox group first — codes do not pay out otherwise. Then open chat in game and type the full code including the ;code prefix, exactly as shown, for example ;code YAYSPINS. Codes are case-sensitive, and most give spins, rerolls, experience boosts or drop boosts.
Human is the simplest start: you get a katana and a breathing style with a clear quest route. Demon is a strong alternative if you prefer Blood Demon Arts over sword styles, and hybrid is the only race that can roll Dark Thunder breathing. For a first character, pick the path whose moves you enjoy — the rarest roll is not automatically the best one.
Slayer Marks are rolled traits for humans and hybrids. When your health drops below 30%, your mark activates and boosts your damage, health regeneration and movement speed by 10%, plus 10% damage for one matching breathing style. It then goes on a 10-minute cooldown. There are five marks, from the common Tomioka (Water) to the rare Kamado (Sun).
Final Selection is the trial that turns a trainee into an official Slayer. After levelling through the early quest chain and buying a katana, you take on the trial and its Hand Demon boss. Go in with a style you know well and healing ready — clearing it unlocks the next stage of progression.
