Dress to Impress is down to its final day of Halloween. The Halloween 2026 update, which launched on 17 October in version 2.6.8.0, is scheduled to finish on Saturday 7 November at 4 PM UTC — and with it go the seasonal outfits, the four Halloween minigames and the 40-tier Halloween Collection Baddie Pass. If you have been meaning to finish the pass or start the story quest, this is the weekend to do it.

The Dark King quest outlives the event by a week

There is one piece of good news in the deadline: Tales of the Dark King, the Halloween story quest, began on 24 October and is scheduled to stay available until 14 November — a full week after the main event closes. So while the Baddie Pass tiers and the seasonal shop disappear on Saturday, the quest itself can still be played next week. That makes the pass, not the quest, the thing to prioritise before the clock runs out.

The quest runs on its own server, the Halloween Quest Lobby, reached from the Teleport menu in the main lobby. Chapter 1 puts you on the Ferryman's boat for a crossing of the River Styx: keep the lantern fed from the fuel storage, fight off the spirits that climb onto the hull with the oar, and step off at the stops to collect ten fuel orbs before the boat can move on. Reach the Soul Field at the end of the 180-unit crossing and follow the glowing orb to Clotho and Lachesis, and Chapter 1 is done — with a Chapter 1 badge to show for it. A group of four makes the crossing far easier than going solo, since the lantern drains fast and the spirits do not wait.

Chapter 2 is split in two, and Chapter 3 is still locked

Finishing Chapter 1 unlocks Chapter 2, which the developers split into two parts — 2-1 and 2-2 — in the 27 October update, so there is more quest to play than the launch version offered. Chapter 3 remains locked for now, with no confirmed opening date, so the story is still unfinished even for players who have cleared everything available. That is worth knowing before you rush: you can finish what exists this weekend, but the finale is not in the game yet.

The 40-tier Baddie Pass is the real deadline

The Halloween Collection pass is the longest Baddie Pass the game has run — 40 tiers against the usual 30 — and it is the part of the event that genuinely expires on Saturday. Unfinished tiers, unclaimed seasonal items and the returning 2025 passes all hinge on it: the 2025 Diamond Pass is back as a Robux purchase, while the regular 2025 Baddie Pass only opens behind an 'Open 2nd Pass' button once you have completed the new Halloween Collection. Tier skips exist if you are short — 199 Robux for one tier, 549 for three — but the cheaper route is simply to play the runway rounds and minigames while they are still live.

What to do before November 7

Three things are worth doing before the event closes. First, push the Baddie Pass as far as you can — it is the only part of the event that cannot be finished later. Second, start Tales of the Dark King if you have not yet, and clear Chapter 1 in a group of four; the quest stays open until 14 November, but the Halloween lobby, outfits and minigames around it will not. Third, check the Dress to Impress codes page: the Halloween event brought no confirmed new public redemption code as of 3 November, so the newest code remains LANADOLLDRESS from the summer update, and anything claiming to be a secret Halloween code should be treated as unconfirmed.

We will update this story when the developers confirm what replaces the Halloween season — Dress to Impress usually follows a seasonal event with a new theme within weeks — and the Dress to Impress codes page will be re-checked the moment the next update goes live.
